Hi, There is a special Complex materials seminar 9:30am Wednesday Jan. 20 in BPS 1400: /Shijie Wu/Ryan Smith (Agilent Technologies) / "Scanning Probe Microscopy in Controlled Environments: A discussion of experimental possibilities in liquid, gas, and temperature-controlled environments" After the seminar the Agilent staff will be available for demonstrations of their instrument. They have a portable system that will be set up in BPS B135/6. They can demonstrate a variety of things including electrochemical AFM, conducting probe AFM and AFM in gas and liquid environments.
