I have to agree. I love HP printers. Most of their other hardware is crap, but printers they can do :) The problem I've had is order fulfillment. At least through the Computer Store. I know it's not their fault, it's HP's, but CStore's prices are usually the best so I continue to use them.

We are very HP when it comes to printers.
Cost might be a little higher, as Jack Kramer points out, but I think that they are great.
I have a Laserjet P2015dn in offices where people has his/her own printer
For mass consumption we have LaserJet 4350 (B&W) and LaserJet 4550 (color)
Plotters DesignJet 5500
Support has also been above average.

I actually prefer Brother laser printers - their consumable costs are much

lower than HP units, as well as being cheaper up front. I like to order from

either CDW-G or Newegg.

Subject: [MSUNAG] Office Printer Recommendations

Hello NAG,

Our Lexmark Optra S1650 Laser printer just quit working. I has

been a great printer, very durable and dependable. I would like your

recommendations on a good replacement. We have a color HP 4550 for

color printing that is slow but meets our needs. We use the B&W laser

when we can because the toner costs are much lower. Cost and

dependability are the primary factors. Is HP still the best out

there? We require networking and at least a 500 sheet paper tray.

Which HP model would you recommend? Which supplier would you recommend?

Thanks

Cliff
