I gave up on a NAG response and called AIS instead (3-4420 x311) and talked to
Tony at the Service Desk. He said they've got an updated version on CD
that he can send via campus mail, along with install instructions since it
doesn't come pre-configured like the download does.

Can anyone from AIS comment on the ancient version of
Hummingbird Host Explorer that’s available from https://www.msu.edu/user/acnslic/hostexplorer/
It’s not compatible with 64-bit systems but there doesn’t seem to
be a newer version available from AIS. What are other units using on
64-bit Windows systems, and in particular, Windows 7?
