As an addendum to my post below, we also heavily restrict what the majority of our users can do on workstations. We only grant Admin privileges to Faculty/Staff after the fact when it is requested and they have good reason for it. This greatly reduces the number of malware issues we deal with and mitigates many others. The only caveat being that we also have to deal some complaints that people can't do whatever they want with "their" computer. They are looking at departmental stuff, if I got that right. Instead you can get copies of Mcafee and Symantec. Ugh. NOD32 has been failing me for a while now, and I've spent (wasted) more time dealing with protection software. Webroot is pretty much the winner, with Sophos and Kaspersky being good too. --STeve Andre'
