To All Interested Parties, Note: The bill is located The 2008 Farm Bill contained various changes to the Farm Storage Facility Loan program. The addition of cold storage is at the Secretary's discretion. Public meetings, for public comments, were held April 14, 2009 in Kansas City, KS and on April 15, 2009 in Cleveland, OH. There weren't any fruit or vegetable growers at the meetings, so there was no input on the need for cold storage. Public comments will be received through May 13, 2009.
