I have been thinking about this, and in my opinion
we should consider urging our legislature to rethink creating yet another huge
bureaucracy, when simply if FDA and USDA were not so corrupted by corporate
influence and DID THEIR JOB enforcing the regulations we already have, this
would be unnecessary. We have books and books of regulations in place, is this
not redundant? The cost of creating another huge agency will be prohibitive, and
will be more of the same old, same old....this way we will not have to try to
comb through all of this hooey, and this may be the best strategy.
Just a thought,
"Facism should more properly called corporatism,
since it is the merger of state and corporate power"

Chris is urging action, and I agree that action

was being crafted to prevent discussion. I didn't understand that comment. Is
It seems like we should be talking to national farm
organizations, ag journalists, and national media. How can we organize this
grass roots effort in an informed and effective way? Does anyone on this list
know if any other group in Michigan already has a concerted effort

We need to unite, make up a standard letter and have everybody
