To be honest, I've removed the software from every ThinkPad I've dealt with.

Subject: [MSUNAG] ThinkVantage System Update and End Users?

Just curious as to how other departments with thinkpads are handling the ability of end users to work with ThinkVantage System Update? Is there a way either via GPO or other means to restrict the types of updates that will come through? We're starting to roll out Thinkpads, and I'm having nightmares of end users arbitrarily applying bios updates, and then powering off in the middle of the process because they're late for a meeting or something.

Thanks,

Al
