Is this for real, or is it a sophisticated phish?

All MSU Faculty and Staff,

Toshiba is proud to announce the new MSU website we have set up for faculty and staff to purchase directly from the manufacturer at special member pricing. Go to www.store.toshiba.com/customer

Click on “new user”

The account number is 1237552

Enter your information. Please use just the msu.edu email ending as it won’t recognize any other (in other words, don’t use mail.msu.edu or others like that) and click register

You should get a pop up saying your temporary password is being emailed to you.

On the sign in page, list your account number, email address and the temporary password, it will take you to a prompt to change your password. Once in, check out your great discounted pricing and let me know if I can help in any way.

I request if you are planning on doing a purchase order, you save a quote in the site and still send me the copy of the PO via fax or email for processing. You may reference your quote number that you create on the PO.
