new Web Accessibility policy can be located on the Web site
identified in the July 1, 2008 DDC memo that you have received. I have also attached a copy
of the new policy for your convenience. I would encourage you to review the
new Web site and take advantage of the Resource Team that will be
contacting units to assist in the implementation of this new policy. The
Resource Team is prepared to assist individuals and units in achieving
compliance with the new standards which do not go into effect until December
31, 2008. Please feel free to contact our office at 353-3922 (Ms. Karen
