Hi Helen,

Iım glad to hear you were invited to this as well.  I was asked but canıt
make it, as I will (ironically) be in the field conducting research
undergraduate learning in the geosciences.

So, I would simply echo Ericıs suggestion, which was:
³You might also consider the relative nature of field experiences and
engagement in real (uncontrolled) phenomena, the integration of variable
spatial and temporal scales, and the nature of inquiry in the geosciences
relative to other sciences.²

I second that wholeheartedly, as I think these are some of the most unique
aspects of our science we have to offer to the rest of science education.

Iım glad youıll be there to represent us all!  Thanks!
