Yeah that is exactly the issue. For that matter you could just download
the trial and license it when it expires but because of our licensing we
don't get a "code" ... generally the server products have the codes
integrated into the disk. I have a technet subscription and that's
basically the same thing... I had the same idea but it didn't pan out.

On the note of the computer store, everyone around here is fed up with
how long it takes to get media for anything, 3 weeks is ridiculous. The
problem we had with the order screw up was not the computer store but
was the distributor. As far as I understand (and I don't understand
much) the distributor ran into an error when making the order and the
buck stopped there...it wasn't until I followed up with the computer
store 3 weeks later and the computer store followed up with them that
they found the error and started the whole order over again. Not to
mention the fact that it takes ages for them to even be able to get new
products. We couldn't even order server 2008 until 2 months after it
was on newegg...There has got to be a better distributor out there....

The only caveat there might be that the MSDN/TechNet ISO may not accept
a
volume license key. Because I'd thought of that option too.

Ehren,

I've experienced somewhat similiar problems after the Cstore switched
to this new distributor, disappointing.

I don't have the media for you, however, I think that if someone has
the MSDN subscription they can download the ISO for you.
