As long as you have your new file server setup with the sharing and
security permissions comparable to the original you should just change
the paths accordingly. A reboot for each user naturally will allow for
propagation. Without knowing your topology there that is the common
solution.

Do you have a test environment by chance?

Subject: [MSUNAG] Changing the path of Redirected Folders?

Hi everyone,

We are migrating to a new file server, and I need to determine the best
way to change where our users redirected folders live. We are using
basic Folder Redirection, and redirecting everyone's stuff to their own
folder under the route path. What gotchas do I need to be aware of when
attempting this? Should I disable redirection, let everything get
copied back to the users' local profile, and then enable the new GPO?
Can I simply change the route path in the GPO or would that be a bad
thing?

Thanks for any thoughts,
