Press Release 5/20/2008

The Market will be opening May 24, 2008 for the Second season and will be
held on Saturdays from 8AM to 1PM in downtown Frankfort on Main Street in
front of the boat launch. The Old-Fashioned tailgate style market will
feature fresh products from local farms from Benzie and surrounding
counties.

The Frankfort Farmers Market is a very unique and special situation. The
Market area is immediately adjacent to Parking, and near the Boat Launch,
Library, Open Green Space, Marina, Playground, Picnic Pavilion, Lighthouse,
Piers, Beaches, and other shopping and restaurants. There are very few
farmers markets with this level of ambience in all of North America!

Any local farmers or farm products producers interested in vending at the
Frankfort Farmers Market are asked to call the Market Master Cindy Lannin at
231-882-5264. The market is open to ALL farmers and farm products producers
and Crafts from natural media

(Material's from the earth of Northern Michigan) within the general vicinity
of Frankfort or from any of the surrounding counties.

The market will run on Saturdays into late September as long as the weather
holds out.

There is plenty of space available for all local farmers who want to come
and sell their farm's products. We will have immediate room for at least
30-40 farms and can expand to 100 if necessary although we may be starting
with just a few because of the earliness of the season.
