Ah, sorry, I guess I did forget to include what kind of backups I need to
do. Basically we have a removable hard drive bay in a server that we store
our incremental and full backups on. No images, no workstations, just file
backup. The drives gets swapped out once a week to our offsite location.
We do the same with a tape drive, but I wouldn't mind retiring that in favor
of exclusive use of the hard drives.

Subject: Re: [MSUNAG] Alternatives to Backup Exec?

Are you looking to backup to tape or disk or use both in a staging
backup?
Do you need to do archiving of your data?

The other "alternative" I've used is Acronis TrueImage Server on a
system that only needs to have 30 days worth of backups.
