In Outlook 2003, there is an option in Send/Receive Settings called "Download offline address book". If this is not checked, the address book will not be downloaded automatically.

Hi all,

 

Just wondering what governs how often a workstation will download an updated GAL?  I added a new exchange account three days ago and as of this morning, I had to instruct one of my users to update the GAL manually by doing a send receive/download address book.   Is there a way via group policy or some other means to force this to happen at a regular interval?
