Recently I installed an Astaro gateway, does virus scanning of email
and web traffic, IPS, PPTP, IPSec, SSL VPN, email encryption, etc,
etc, etc. Updates almost every 45 minutes with new patterns. I've been
impressed so far. They have a free personal license, can download and
put on hardware or buy their hardware.
