Greetings from MSU!
The Michigan Organic Food and Farming Alliance is hosting
the annual conference on March 1st. Please take a look at the
program that will be available later today on the listserv bi-weekly
newsletter. The conference features presentations on organic production AND consumers interested in learning and
understanding organic and their food system. Also visit www.moffa.org and check out their web site for
conference info and registration.
But now I am trying to fill the bill for our organic lunch
during the conference. I have found many of the ingredients from you great
Michigan ORGANIC famers THANKS SO MUCH
Now we are seeking ingredients to create some sort of salad.
We have carrots that could be a portion of the salad but wonder if any of you
have organic greens and/or cabbage available. In terms of quantity, only Zero
pounds is too little as we can combine ingredients and also make several types
of needed due to supply.
Please call me if you have any organic veggies or fruit you
would like to sell or contribute (with a complimentary Organic Conf add) to the
cause. MOFFA is a non-profit so could write you a receipt for the product in
you donate for tax purposes. We especially need fruit for the crisp and greens
for the salad.
If you know of someone who is not on this listserv please share
this info.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
