However, MSU Telecom Systems does support similar services (MSUmobility), for MSU faculty and staff. Also, if you have any suggestions for any Voice applications, please let me know - we are always looking to develop our portfolio of useful products. -Nick Kwiatkowski MSU Telecom Systems ________________________________ From: MSU Network Administrators Group [mailto:[log in to unmask]] On Behalf Of Vasquez, Timo Sent: Tuesday, December 18, 2007 9:22 AM To: [log in to unmask] Subject: Re: [MSUNAG] FAQ - Avoiding On-line Software Tools Hey jim, Not to "get all confrontational" but, I am a literal person and Google apps and online software TOOLS, is different than web email by the same providers. So I went to the NETFILES site in one of the questions and it is not really a software tool site either. I am just curious as to the language meaning a very general sense of online software tools. I.E. this computer I am using now is a tool to compute, or my email account is a communication tool. I am a new person in this community but I am trying to do my part to add value to the peoples experience, volunteer when called upon, and help improve the technical environment while I am here. So I would like to see some other items that are specifically online software tools that can be used in place of business apps like calanders, phone tools for conferencing like skype, web programs that enumerate your local pc shares to the host system being used and allows for file sharing via said example with out challenge, and finally any on line to that offers office features like word processing, spreadsheets and databases. These are what I see as online software tools if I we are educating faculty and staff on the cautions or compliance with the A.U.P. There is also reference to Yahoo and Hotmail later in the document. This seems sufficient to me.
