Here in Chemistry, we have a
pair of 32-bit Dell Windows Server 2003 computers in an active/passive
fail-over cluster running Exchange 2003 Server. They both connect to a
dual-SCSI raid array with a stripe-set for the Exchange store and quorum and
log disks. It works very well for our ~400-600 or so clients. Looking to
upgrade to Exchange 2007 on 64-bit hardware fairly soon, hopefully.

Subject: [MSUNAG] Departmental E-mail Systems
Nag-
We are in the process of evaluating and deciding on a new
departmental email system and wondered what everyone else was using.
If you could take a second and quicky reply with what
department you are in, what software you use and what version, and possibly in
what configuration (ie. Clustering, exchange FE/BE, etc).
Much appreciated from your friends at the physics
department-
