There will be a comprehensive evaluation of two HD video conferencing systems in 252 Erickson Hall this coming Thursday from 8:00 am until 3:00 pm, followed by a demonstration from 3:00 pm until 4:00 pm.  You can come for the whole day or drop in whenever you want.   The evaluation and demonstration will involve two Polycom 9002 HD systems and two LifeSize Room HD systems (one kindly loaned by John Ford’s and the Health Information Technology unit).  They will be setup as a Polycom/LifeSize combination in each of two conveniently located rooms equipped with HD projectors, standard microphones, open and congested Ethernet lines, regular plus special lighting, PC data connections, plus whatever else we can think of testing.  We will also try to get the current pricing for the systems.
