One of the reasons we built SWAP was so that we could create customized information products depending on the needs of the client. Since the architecture is open and transparent, it's easy enough to construct whatever sort of information type would be most useful. For example, the system can generate email messages, it can generate RSS feeds, it can allow users to subscribe to particular threads and receive updates on just those - or it can do ALL of those things. The data can be repurposed into pretty much any form necessary.
