Yes, if possible.

We have full time roaming users who need to be connected via VPN.

Sounds like you want users to have a dedicated full time VPN?

Usually stays up to 4 hrs.  However, there are users who are questioning about extending the time out duration.  In addition, it gets disconnected, not timed out, and reconnected frequently.

My old one would time out after 4 hours, is yours timing out sooner then that?

And bonus kudos if they come up with a way to do this update via a
command line, so we can more easily push it out to the 50 locked-down
computers we manage on which users don't have administrator access.
Something that provides secure communication should be manageable in a
secure manner, no?  (Not that more than a few of those 50 computers need
it, but still...)

Approximate End Time: 11/27/2007 8:00:00 AM

Comments: The SSL VPN service will be updated to new code (version

6.0R2.0)

to add support for MacOS 10.5 (Leopard).

new client software (in the form of a Java applet) on the user's

machine.

Installation will require Administrator privileges.   Users who do

not have

Administrator rights will need the help of their system

administrator in

order to install the new client.
