Usually stays up to 4 hrs. However, there are users who are questioning about extending the time out duration. In addition, it gets disconnected, not timed out, and reconnected frequently. Something that provides secure communication should be manageable in a secure manner, no? (Not that more than a few of those 50 computers need it, but still...) After the server is upgraded, the next time anyone (Windows or MAC) accesses the SSL VPN service, the Network Connect process will download and install new client software (in the form of a Java applet) on the user's machine. Installation will require Administrator privileges. Users who do not have Administrator rights will need the help of their system administrator in order to install the new client.
