The tag:

***SPAM***
Is coming from either the spam protection module, or some software used to defend your account. Not sure if it is configurable with out you revealing what your using and if you have permission to adjust.

If you are talking about client tips and tricks, to retrieve mail from the spam tag, why not make your self a rule that is by senders address to go to your inbox or what ever folder you designate for this. That way it will filter on that field instead of subject.

If you don’t want to lose any mail what so ever and you successfully make a filter on the tag: ***SPAM*** to go to your inbox, you will have defeated the purpose of filtering? Why would you do this?

Just curious,

Timo

I would like to have the option of enabling Spam processing on my MSU mail
without having ***SPAM*** put in subject lines.

Does anyone know of a way to enable the Malmail Setting "Move to SPAM
folder" and have the Spam automatically put in the Inbox instead? I tried a
filter for "X-SPAM-LEVEL starts with *****", but it does not move messages
to the Inbox.

Or does anyone know of a way to retrieve mail from the SPAM folder using
POP3 (we have an Imail server which allows us to use a special
username-mailbox syntax to retrieve mail from a folder other than Inbox).

Or do you have a better suggestion?

Thanks,
 -Stefan
