I am rural (no cable) and use Freedom Networks - they use WIMAX technology. http://www.fnw.us or 866.669.4737 to see if they have service in your area. I get 1.2-1.5Mbps down and 250k-350k up consistently for $40/mon and $100 for the rooftop antenna.
