I am finding that the current MSU email
system makes it very difficult to do time-sensitive business with off-campus
users. I had a situation last week where we almost lost over $1000 due to
an email being delivered 7 hours late. In addition, I regularly have
problems getting security codes for software that I purchase off the Internet
and need to use immediately. I don’t blame ACNS for the email
delays since they are clearly related to the SPAM spikes that we typically get
just before Fall and Spring breaks. It is frustrating though and at some
stage I will need to move to a non-MSU email address just to get my work done.
