If you have the scripting ability you can use this very thorough tool called winaudt.exe it is robust and can export results in many helpful formats. I used to put in on shared folder for all my client pcs that was a common mapped drive, then in the login in script I would put in the path to the executable, it runs in no time at all and leaves the results in the shared network folder I pointed to. I would put in the end after the drives have been mapped. Its free and effective. -----Original Message----- From: MSU Network Administrators Group [mailto:[log in to unmask]] On Behalf Of Samone E Jones Sent: Wednesday, October 24, 2007 1:36 PM To: [log in to unmask] Subject: [MSUNAG] Software/Hardware Inventory Tool Hello Comrads, I'm looking for software that can audit the hardware and software of our clients over the network. I don't want to use SMS. Does anyone have any recommendations of a good software to try. Thanks, Samone
