Projects (ESBP), Diane Waters, EBSP Communication Director, and Melinda
Grubich, Workgroup Lead for HR Business Intelligence.
Executive leadership has specified four core
high-level objectives for the Enterprise Business Systems Projects to
accomplish; these are flexibility, transparency, standardization support, and
delegation capability. The project must support an approach to data and
information that makes both more open and apparent within legal and ethical
boundaries.
Part of the directive of the Enterprise
Business System Projects is to design an integrated set of administrative tools
that can be used by faculty and staff to accomplish the business of Michigan State University. A
component of this is Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing, which will
support multi-dimensional ad-hoc online analysis and analytical processing
including standard reports publishing.
Linda will introduce the topic of ‘Business
