I am concerned that they keep data at all...they should not be keeping
data from anyone let along MSU staff and students.  And yes, I am
concerned about them getting hacked.  No system is immune from attack or
hackers...

What does data retention have to do with security?  Are you afraid
google will end up getting broken into and all the data about MSU
staff and students stolen, because Google keeps it for 24 months?
