Duties:
To teach all levels of undergraduate courses in early childhood
education, including supervision of field work students. Successful candidates
will participate in departmental and college assignments, community services,
student guidance, research and scholarly activities leading to professional
growth, and other tasks normally associated with a full time teaching position.
Qualifications:
For appointment as an Assistant or Associate Professor a candidate
must possess a Doctorate Degree in an educational field, and experience
commensurate with rank. Evidence of experience teaching at the college level
and / or in teacher training is required, as well as in an Early Childhood or
Elementary setting. Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills and grant writing
abilities are advantageous.
Salary:
Assistant Professor: $ 38,001 - $ 66,292
Associate Professor: $ 49,521 - $ 79,220
(Salary commensurate with rank and experience.)
