If you are a farmer AND a woman or a person of minority and would like
to attend the 2006 (Nov 10-12) in Tustin, MI (south of Cadillac) there
will be a scholarship for you.

We have just learned of a new grant from the Risk Management Agency to
help growers attend the CSA conference. The grant is so new that we
don't know the procedures yet, nor are we clear on eligibility. All we
know is that you must be a Michigan grower and a woman, minority or at
financial risk. If you are interested in the conference but can't afford
it call right away; we hope to know more about the process and
requirements today or tomorrow.

If you know anyone who could benefit from this, let them (or us) know
