Electricity, telephones, and computer networking will be off in Holmes
Hall for most of the day on Saturday, June 17th, 2006. Electricity will
be turned off at approximately 7:00am and will be restored by 8:00pm.
This will affect most network services for the Division of Housing
& Food Services including printing and e-mail messages sent to the
mail.hfs.msu.edu domain.
Merchants accepting Spartan Cash will not be able to verify account
balances, so most vendors will not be accepting Spartan Cash payments
that day.
These HF&S operations should remain mostly unaffected: Kellogg
Hotel & Conference Center, the MSU Union, Brook Lodge Hotel &
Conference Resort, Jack Breslin Student Events Center (online
ticketing), Forest Akers Golf Courses, and the MSU Tennis Facility. All
H&FS-operated web sites will be unaffected except for e-commerce
transactions related to Spartan Cash or meal plan purchases.
