I’ve had a number of people complaining about delays
of 12-24 hours in e-mail delivery. The delay seems to involve the mail.msu.edu
server each time.
Here is a header that demonstrates one example where the
e-mail was being delivered to a mail.msu.edu account although I have had at
least one report of delays when using mail.msu.edu as the smtp server for
outgoing mail as well.
