On my kids & parents Windows machines, I use HitmanPro http://www.hitmanpro.nl/ followed up by Microsoft's Antispyware. http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/spyware/software/default.mspx If something makes it past that combination the drive will have to be wiped and Linux installed. HitmanPro can take a long time as it automatically runs a growing list of antispyware products. After it finishes you can read a report on which product did what. /rich
