We are using
BrightStor Arcserve for Windows with about 20 clients which consist of
Windows servers, Solaris, Linux, etc. The hardware is a 40 cartridge
StorageTek unit with both an LTO I and an LTO II tape drive.
The learning
curve for programming backup schedules, reports, etc. seems to be fairly steep
and we're about to invest in a self-paced Quick Start course on CD from the
CA Education division. We're wondering if there are other
units using the product that might have developed expertise, command
scripts, etc that they would share and if anyone would be willing to share in
the cost of the self-paced course, which is $300.00
