>Subject: MSU NetID password change deadline looming
>To: [log in to unmask]
>
>On May 11, Academic Computing and Network Services (ACNS) implemented
>the first step of upgrading the NetID password server and began informing
>members of the MSU community of the need to reset their passwords.
>
>On September 27, the final step of this upgrade will take effect and
>anyone who has not reset their password since May 11 will be locked out
>of most online services (such as mail.msu.edu, ANGEL, Human Resources eHR,
>computer labs, etc.).
>
>To date, THOUSANDS of students, faculty, and staff have not yet changed
>their passwords. In order to minimize the confusion and disruption on
>September 27, please urge everyone in your unit to change their MSU NetID
>password before the deadline. The process is really quite painless!
>
>To change your MSU NetID password, go to https://netid.msu.edu, select
>"Change password" and follow the simple instructions.
>
>If you have any questions or need assistance, please call the ACNS Help
>Desk at (517) 432-6200, or visit http://help.msu.edu. Thank you for your
>assistance in this matter.
