I've gotten it to work. Check the DNS settings on the router and see
what DNS servers it is picking up on the WAN side. Make sure they are in
sync with what the modem is picking up. You're able to connect to the
VPN network so it doesn't seem to be a routing issue, just simply an
address resolution issue.

Has anyone gotten VPN to work the a WRT54G router?  I connect through 
VPN fine, but it won't map any network drives.  I unplug from the router

and plug directly into the modem, and it works!  Any ideas?
