We (ACNS) are in the final stages of upgrading the system on which MSU's web site, www.msu.edu, runs. The new setup features a cluster of new servers and new software. In particular, the legacy AFS authentication functions have been completely rewritten. We request your assistance in testing the new configuration. Point your web browser at: http://newweb.msu.edu. It should look and function exactly the same as www.msu.edu does. Please try going to any and every page you know of that is protected by authentication, especially if they are under the /user or /course hierarchies. Please let me know of anything you find that does not appear to work or look exactly as it should. Thanks for your help, James F.
