Laurence, RealVNC can SHARE a console, unlike XP's Remote Desktop Connection. I use it with our secretaries/staff when they call with a help request. I connect to their computer (which is running the VNC server) and then I see what they're seeing, and we can both control the mouse/kbd. I can then show them how to accomplish something without leaving the comfort of my office. Tom Thomas P.
