Subject: RE: [MSUNAG] using win98 w/ w2003 AD (fwd)

AD client needs to be installed for windows 98, And the client then needs to
join the domain,
Not ALL of AD stuff will be available for W98 client (Computer accounts,
Group policy objects, profiles, etc.),
W98 should use TCP/IP protocols and not NetBIOS, WINS, etc.
The authentication , file share, etc. limits some filenames, and passwords
to 8 characters.
The W2003/W2k servers may need to be set to accept "pre-2000"
authentication.
