Perhaps just as important as the technical issues, are the procedures for bulk email that have been published by LCT being followed? See: http://lct.msu.edu/guidelines/bulkemail.html Hopefully Chairs, Directors, et al passed these on to faculty and IT support staff in every department where bulk email to msu.edu addresses might be used. The guidelines were (of course) distributed via bilk email.
