10-Aug-2004 - OpenAFS 1.3.70 Released!
OpenAFS 1.3.70
represents the current state of development efforts, and is now the stable
Windows 2000/XP/2003 client. For Unix platforms, 1.2.11 is still the stable
release. However, 1.3.70 is a milestone on the release path to 1.4.0, and we're
looking for serious testing.

Subject: RE: [MSUNAG] Anyone using SP2 yet?
I
was running a pre-release on my pc at home and upgraded it last night.
I had
installed Open Afs on it and after the installation reboot it stayed on the
Windows startup screen for quite some time and then a message eventually
appeared that Open Afs couldn't connect. When I acknowledged the error the
machine never completed the start-up and just stayed on the same screen. I had
to power off and boot into safe mode, remove the application and then it started
up fine. I haven't tried reinstalling the application
yet.
