This is intriguing...

I have a Dell Axim X3i running Pocket PC 2003 and have had no trouble
reading MSU mail or registering the device with DHCP. My only complaint
with the device was that sometimes when hopping from wireless network to
wireless network it failed to renew its DHCP address, but a driver
update downloaded from Dell and installed via activesync fixed that...

What is the build number of your OS? Mine's build 13100. Perhaps you
have a more recent build that has a slight flaw.

Have you tried viewing the certificates on the device? Or clearing the
certificates so that it is forced to download them again?

Also, are you using Pocket Internet Explorer (pie) or a different web
browser?

One of our faculty members recently purchased a Dell Axium X3. It runs
pocket pc 2003 O.S.. When connected to network we can browse web pages
that are prefixed with http: once we try to open a site prefixed with
https: it can not open the site or page.

Additionally, we are unable to connect to mail.msu.edu via ssl. This
makes me think there are problems with accepting certificates or with
the implementation of ssl in general on this OS.

Has anybody out there run into this problem? What did you do to fix it?
