If they are in an active directory domain, you can lock them down using a group policy. You could do like I did in the business library for the selected resources machines and set an Internet proxy for IE. That would block their network access. You can even remove my network places, and remove access to the C drive. If you don't have a domain, you can run "gpedit.msc" and lock it down on the local workstation. Be careful though, doing it that way, I have locked myself out of the machine.
