The MSU Computer Store urges users to ugprade to the latest version of Black Ice in order to avoid the vulnerability exploited by the Internet worm known as Witty. If you acquired Black Ice through the MSU Computer Store, please visit http://cstore.msu.edu and click on the Black Ice link. (The Store offers Black Ice at a cost of $5.00 for one-year license.) The Computer Store plans to send e-mails to those people who purchased the product through the Store. This is a heads-up to MSU computer support staff that your end users may receive this mailing. Customers attempting upgrades this week have reported problems with early expirations; installations done between 3/31/03 and 9/30/03 incorrectly exhibit November 2003 expiration dates.
