Education Solutions Group is please to offer Microsoft Product Roadmap and Microsoft Security & Patch Management Solutions.

9:00 AM - Noon

Microsoft Product Roadmap:

In this session a Technology Specialist from Microsoft (Education Solutions Group) will walk through a roadmap of current and future Microsoft products and solutions.  He will cover each Microsoft product and solution at a 100-200 level and define where and how they apply to an Educational institution.  Considering the broad list of products and solutions addressed in this session, the content will be fairly high-level.  Depending on the size of the audience, the session will be as interactive as possible, otherwise time will be reserved for questions at the end.

Microsoft Security & Patch Management Solutions:

In this session a Technology Specialist from Microsoft (Education Solutions Group) will first give an overview of the most recent security issues the industry to date including how they have affected Higher Education institutions in particular.  Then he will discuss Microsoft’s strategy and initiatives as they apply to security; and finally he will walk through a series of products and solutions for securing and patching Windows servers, desktops, and your network perimeter including MSBSA, IPSec, Systems Management Server, Software Update Services, ISA Server, (best practices, etc…).  This will include current and future releases of these products and solutions.  Depending on the size of the audience the session will be interactive as possible, otherwise time will be reserved for questions at the end.
