The MSU Network Administrators Group will meet on Friday, September 19th,
2003, 3:00-5:00 pm in room 1400 Biomedical and Physical Sciences Bldg.,
which is on Wilson Road just east of Farm Lane, next to the Biochemistry
Bldg. (and attached to the Chemistry Bldg.'s south wing). Room 1400 BPS is
the Physics & Astronomy Conference room, in the southeast corner of the
first floor near the main doors at the Wilson Road end of the building.
There will be refreshments.
Agenda items:
* News concerning changes to the network, both planned and in
response to real and potential threats
* Updates on recent viruses/worms and their effects on MSU
systems and networks
* Other Computer Lab news and information
* Other computer security issues
* A survey concerning future MSU NAG meetings (scheduling, format,
possible demonstrations, etc.) -- a copy of this survey is attached
to this E-mail message, in case you want to print it and fill it out
to turn in at this afternoon's meeting.
* Topics of interest to the members present (e.g., questions leading,
we hope, to answers -- if not at this meeting, then for the mailing
list or a future meeting)
