Operations: Please post the following in Remedy Alerts: ******Begin Post********** Friday Aug. 29 at 7am we will interrupt connectivity to the Database server for afs.msu.edu (afsdb0.cl.msu.edu) for approximately 30 to 60 seconds. All services relying on afs authentication will be affected. ********End Post************ We are switching in a new UPS. The server has dual power supplies so we don't expect the need for a reboot. The switch serving it however is a single power supply unit so it will have to be offline long enough to move the plug.
