Has anyone reported the AFS access as a problem to Computer Lab? Has it been logged as a problem? I tried John's instruction (below) last night and it worked for me from my office in Erickson Hall. Perhaps OpenAFS is the short-term solution for people who need immediate access to their AFS space. For those who are familiar with OpenAFS, could it be a solution to accessing Windows servers (2003) from off-campus? Or do we still need VPN? r. ----- Original Message ----- From: "John Valenti" <[log in to unmask]> To: <[log in to unmask]> Sent: Monday, August 25, 2003 8:36 PM Subject: OpenAFS install instructions > FYI > Here's a draft on installing the OpenAFS client on Windows 2000.
