Yes, the Computer Lab knows about the problem.  I'm not sure who from the
Computer Lab reads this mailing list, outside of those of us dealing with
network issues.

The Pilot system is overloaded - the fix is called "mail.msu.edu".  As
soon as the conversion to mail.msu.edu gets underway in earnest, I would
expect to see significant relief for the users who are left on Pilot.

Until then, I would expect periods of time where multi-hour delays in
delivery are seen, for mail which has to traverse the Pilot e-mail system.
